See import errors in your browser

It would be great if you didn’t have to download an error file. It slows down the process and seems clunky.

Agreed - if you could see the errors in the browser and correct them there and attempt to import again it would be much more convenient!

We recently rolled out a post-imports results screen that will show you the number of rows you imported, how many of these rows were net new records, and how many of these rows updated existing records in the CRM. If there are any errors present in your import file it will also show you how many records were impacted, and link you to documentation so you can begin to address these errors.

 

You can access this screen (shown below) by clicking on the name of any of your imports in HubSpot. You'll also be brought to this screen after completing an import by default going forward.

I'm going to mark this idea as delivered, while noting that we plan to iterate and improve this post-imports results page over time.
