Save progress when filling out the form: Pick Up Where You Left Off

Currently, the form can be pre-filled only with the information that users filled in and submitted.

If users are filling in a form that has over 20 fields and they need to leave the form after completing 15 fields, they may exit the browser and return the following day to complete the form. However, they may discover that they need to start over from the beginning instead of being able to resume where they left off.

This seems to provide a bad user experience, and many of them will either give up or feel frustrated for having to start from scratch after investing a lot of time filling in the fields previously.

A solution is needed to ensure that users never lose their progress and can simply pick up where they left off.

upvoting on behalf of a customer who would benefit from having this feature as they are planning to implement a form with many fields.

This would be nice. I want to use a hubspot form as my onboarding form, but it has a lot of questions and attachments etc. Sometimes user has to sit down multiple times to fill it all out completely over the course of a few days. Allowing them to easily come back and restart with the same level of progress would be nice to have. Currently I have to use a third party form that has this ability.

Being able to save your progress would be an awesome feature. Please implement this as soon as possible! 🙂

I would also very much like this as we want to use HubSpot forms for applications, which require longer answers. That means we need to use other software or go back to using MS word docs to collect answers.
I think especially with the new multi-page forms that have launched this would be a valuable feature.

This just came up for me as well. We have a fairly extensive onboarding form and would need the ability to save and return.
