Save follow up task based on email deliver date

I usually schedule emails so they are delivered in prospect's working days and hours, or when they are back to office upon holidays. I combine it with the "follow up in X days" when sending them. I noticed however that the follow up is created based on the date the email was scheduled, and not when it was delivered.

For instance:

  • Feb 2nd: I schedule email for Feb 8th with a follow up within 3 working days.
  • Feb 7th: "Follow up task" is due, even though the email wasnt sent yet.
  • Feb 8th: Email is sent.

Is there a way hubspot could identify it and assign the follow up task based on the scheduled date, instead of email creation date?
