Salesforce Integration field mapping: HubSpot Wins
Salesforce is our primary systrem of record for a lot of information, however HubSpot is our Marketing Automation platform for Marketing data. We write information to Contacts in HubSpot that should never change. Because of this, we'd like to have a field mapping option to Salesforce called Always Use HubSpot or Prefer HubSpot unless Blank.
Right now, valuable Marketing information is sycned to Leads in Salesforce, and if the Lead is converted to a Contact, some of that data is lost since not all of it moves to the Contact record upon conversion in Salesforce. If we have Two Way set as the integration setting, it will see the Salesforce value of [BLANK] and then overwrite that field in HubSpot to blank as well.
Yes! We're in a similar spot and it's causing issues for us with automations triggering in Hubspot while Salesforce and Hubspot go back and forth to settle on the most recent data. 🙈 This is a basic part of an integration and is a huge miss from Hubspot and Salesforce.
