For some reason, Sales Hub Templates and Snippets have their own font and type size settings. It seems like you would want every email message to be uniform and use the default user settings for font and type size.
Leaving that aside, if you don't touch font or type size when creating Templates and Snippets, you would assume that when used in email messages, HubSpot would use your default setting. But this isn't the case. Templates and Snippets seem to have some arbitrary default setting of their own, which defeats the whole purpose of having a system-wide font setting. This results in wasting time on font size adjustments when sending an email made from one template and several snippets.
HubSpot should fix this bug. The account default should apply to all email messages in Sales Hub.
Agree with JOsrow: This idea is about sales templates and being able to set concrete font, size, etc., so that all default to that. I recently saw changes related to branding, but I have not yet seen this reflected in the templates. Maybe Hubspot should slow down on some new features and repair quality-of-life issues like this that impact my teams (and me personally) every day. It does not look professional to clients, and our CEO often forgets to set the font and size on his templates. it just shows that now, we should be taking this for granted and it's not.
It is really rediciulous that it is not possible to have a dedicated default setting for Snippets and Templates. So many cool features have been released the last months but not this simple one? Is this already scheduled for development, can we have an official update please?
I'm trying to make the font and size look the same through the body and the custom tags and signature, I have so many sequences it's going to take me forever, please release this feature ASAP! This difference is so strange
I have to fix every single message template and it keeps breaking when we change some text and copy paste – there is no default, no remove formatting, it is absolutely outrageous ... Have you never worked with your own too, HubSpot?
Please fix this issue, make a global font setting available also for all message templates, snippets and conversations.
