We're struggling with the inability for reporting to display percentages versus JUST numbers.
For instance, in this example:
If you have the TOTAL number of the stacked bar and the sub numbers broken out already, to also have the ability to display percentages of each property that makes up the already measured whole would allow us to more accurately gauge trends of what percentage is ordering a certain method. Additionally, to have it be more of a pareto (based on selected measurement) would allow us to quickly cross-reference data sets and quickly say "oh, hey, number of orders who select this shipping method is trending upwards!"
Would be really happy to sit down and walk through how this would look on a more granular level.
+1, we desperately need this. Now we have to use a workaround that includes exporting the data to Excel. Without automatic percentage calculation for KPIs the HubSpot dashboard is not complete.
The ability to report on percentages is hugely needed! It's understandable that the reporting features only report on fields it can pull from records, but it should be able to make calculations with those fields. For example, I should be able to make a report that shows Deals closes vs Deals won in a given month. Right now it only gives the exact count, but it should be able to visualize the percentage as well. Same goes with revenue, say I want to see revenue per industry: it should not only give the hard numbers, but it should have the option to show % rev per category.
Another upvote for this! We keep track of our sales progress on HubSpot's new "Gauge" chart. While we can see where we are in numbers, it'd be great to be able to see percentages, as well/in addition to.
This is really important for us. We have gauge charts to show where we are against sales targets but can't show a percentage. The workaround for this involves creating a calculated custom property in Deals that works out the deal value as a percent of the target and then sum up that percent in a report, but it means we have to create a new calculated property for every sales goal we want to measure performance against and we're running out of calculated properties!
