Report with Performance and Submissions

If a need of client is to create report to see ads performarce and user submissions in one dashboard at hubspot, here’s how you can do it:

🎯 Step 1: Plan the Dashboard Layout

Your dashboard should include:
Ad Performance Metrics (Impressions, Clicks, Conversions, ROAS, etc.)
User Submissions Data (Form Submissions, Contacts Created, Deals Won, etc.)
Funnel View (Ads → Leads → Deals → Revenue)


🛠 Step 2: Create the Dashboard

  1. Go to: HubSpot > Reports > Dashboards
  2. Click Create Dashboard
  3. Select "Custom Dashboard"
  4. Name it (e.g., "Ads & Leads Performance")

📊 Step 3: Add Reports

🔹 Report 1: Ad Performance Overview

  1. Click Add Report > Create Custom Report
  2. Choose Single Object → Select Ads
  3. Select Metrics:
    • Ad Clicks
    • Ad Impressions
    • Ad Conversions (Tracked in HubSpot)
    • Cost Per Click (CPC)
    • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
  4. Add Filters:
    • Date Range: Last 30 Days
    • Ad Network: Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc.
  5. Save & Add to Dashboard

🔹 Report 2: User Submissions (Form Conversions)

  1. Create a New Custom Report
  2. Choose Single Object: Forms
  3. Add Metrics:
    • Form Submission Count
    • Contact Source (Organic, Paid, Direct, etc.)
    • Conversion Rate (Submissions/Views)
  4. Apply Filters:
    • Forms Used in Ads Campaigns Only
  5. Save & Add to Dashboard

🔹 Report 3: Leads & Deals Created from Ads

  1. Create a New Custom Report
  2. Select Cross-Object Report: Ads + Contacts + Deals
  3. Add Fields:
    • Ad Campaign Name
    • New Contacts Created
    • Deals Created
    • Deal Revenue (Closed-Won)
  4. Apply Filters:
    • Contacts Originated from Ads
    • Date Range: Last 30 Days
  5. Save & Add to Dashboard

🔹 Report 4: Ad Performance by Channel

  1. Create a Custom Report
  2. Select Ads as the object
  3. Group data by Ad Network (Facebook, Google, LinkedIn)
  4. Display Clicks, Conversions, Cost per Lead (CPL)
  5. Add to Dashboard

🚀 Step 4: Customize & Share the Dashboard

  1. Rearrange reports in a logical flow (Ads → Leads → Deals → Revenue)
  2. Add Filters at the top (Date Range, Ad Platform, Campaign, etc.)
  3. Click Share and set up a Recurring Email Report
