Report Total Counts on a Timeline

1. Who is the feature for? Analysts, Reporters, Client-side business, Marketing. Anyone who reads reports to inform decisions.

2. What is the goal? Inform decisions based on data trends correlated with campaign actions.

3. What value will this add? Potential time savings are vast, being able to more easily see valuable data at a glance and identify swings.

4. Are there examples of other places or products who have this feature? Yes, almost every other analytics/reporting platform available.

Currently, it appears that Hubspot contact reporting must attribute a date-based X-axis to a date-related contact property, resulting in practically only the ability to report on new contacts created per a date range.

Of immense value to myself, my clients, and I am sure many others, is the need to track a total count figure from one date/range to another, and to be able to filter that figure based on configured parameters. My example:

One of my clients offers their customers several different membership options. We track whether a contact belongs to a membership program with a yes/no property. It would be very valuable to view a timeline that shows the total number of contacts that have Loyalty Membership toggled Yes, from month to month, year to year, day to day, etc. We cannot currently see that.

It is truly needed! I have this business need on several occasions every week.

Absolutely need this. We need it to show the total count against a specific customer status - as just one example.
E.g. how many lapsing, lapsed, inactive, active clients we have at any given time. To show a trend against each type. Are we growing or losing clients?
