Remove the association to 5 recent deals when customer replies to an email
Our customer in travel/event business has a problem with deal associations in emails . When they send an email to a customer (from HubSpot), they can choose the deals they want it to be associated with /logged to, and there is no problem with that.
But when the customer replies to the same email, the email thread is associated with the 5 most recent deals. This causes confusion when multiple employees handle the same emails and cannot find the right deal.
HubSpot support suggested that removing company information from the deal might help, but that causes other problems for our customer.
Would it be possible to associate the reply message only to the same deal(s) that the original email was logged to?
This happens when a contact emails and creates a new thread in conversations. Deals become clogged with various unrelated conversations. Very messy! Big waste of time to have to remove associations on each email, especially with the "associations" listed that the bottom of each email thread, each thread now has to be expanded in order to remove unrelated object associations.
