When you are using Hubspot to monitor your entire business, an important change on your company implies that the information previously recorded is giving you a view of your performance that doesn't reflect the reality.

 

When this could happen?:

  • As a startup, maybe you have needed to pivot and change dramatically your business model. And probably not only once but multiple times.
  • Also, maybe you are not a startup, but you have carried out a completelly redisign of your website. 
  • Finally, another use case, is when you start with a basic implemantion, or a trial, before you jump into a higher subscription, and therefore, that information doesn't contain a complete picture of what you do.

Maybe you would say that you can select a date range that starts after the change. (if you have played with reports frequently, you would have already noticed how frequently is the "all data" date range used, specially when you are a company with a short history. Also, you may think that the solution could be to just open a new account and close the old one, but, what happen if you have an annual contract? You can't.

 

I suggest that it would be usefull to be able to restart an account, or delete all/part of the information recorded or to be able to select when the date range: "all data" starts by default.
