ROUND ROBIN REMEDIATION

Hi All,

Our team is experiencing an issue where we cannot manually adjust the round robin, which is very frustrating to manage.

The use case is that because some "bogus/fake" leads make it through our funnel and are assigned to reps, once we have discovered that the lead is not viable, we cannot adjust the round robin to make that same person up again until they receive a legit qualified lead. Please add this functionality as it is crucial to make the round robin accurate.

Hi AStuchlik,

Thanks for reaching out about the challenges you're facing with manually adjusting round robin assignments in HubSpot. I understand your frustration, especially when "bogus/fake" leads get assigned and disrupt the fair distribution of qualified leads.

Currently, HubSpot doesn't offer a way to manually remove assigned leads from the round robin queue. However, I can offer a couple of suggestions that might help:

  • Lead Scoring: Consider implementing a lead scoring system to prioritize high-quality leads. This way, even if a "bogus" lead gets assigned initially, it's less likely to waste a rep's time.
  • Workflow Automation: You could potentially explore creating a workflow automation that identifies and disqualifies these "bogus" leads. The workflow could then re-enter them into the lead pool for a more qualified rep to receive.

We understand that these may not be ideal solutions, and your request for manual adjustment functionality is valuable. I'd recommend submitting this as a feature request in the HubSpot Ideas forum: HubSpot Ideas [invalid URL removed]. The more votes your suggestion receives, the more likely it is to be considered for future development.

In the meantime, we'll continue to look for ways to improve the round robin functionality in HubSpot.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention!

I understand the need to be able to remove bogus leads from the round robin queue to ensure reps are getting assigned qualified leads.

Here are a couple of approaches to consider:

  1. Implement a lead scoring system: This would allow you to assign points to leads based on specific criteria (e.g., Vally Plant Training, demographics, interest level). Leads that fall below a certain score threshold could be automatically disqualified and removed from the round robin queue.

  2. Create a workflow automation: You could explore setting up a workflow that identifies and disqualifies bogus leads. This could involve checking for specific data points or flags within the lead record. Once disqualified, the lead would be removed from the queue and wouldn't be assigned to a rep.

These are just a few ideas, and the best solution might depend on your specific system and workflow.

Do you have any additional details about the system you're using for round robin assignment? That might help explore some more specific solutions.
