Quotes and Product Support on the Mobile App (View, Share, Create and Approve)

Arne

Being able to simply select the product(s)/services within the mobile app and send the quote (lower price tag stuff only like a few service days or a smaller quantity of a certain product eg for a POC) to your customer right while you are in the scoping meeting would be great.

Yoe can discuss it with the customer while you are face 2 face, adjust if required and get a quick approval not leaving the site, sendingsomething over, wait for response etc.

Especially for the smaller deals in the four figure level, this feature improvement would be very helpful to accelerate the sales process.

Hi all - I think an update has been long overdue and I appreciate everyones patience on this.

This is where we are right now:

  • We are in the early stages of thinking about what a great Quoting experience is on Mobile.
  • We are exploring the experience within the Mobile App for customers to View Quotes and Line Items, followed by Creating Quotes on Mobile.
  • To do the above, we need your help! We are looking to speak to some of you around how we can make the above best-in-class. If you are interested in being part of a paid research study, please book some time with me.

Speak to some of you very soon!

This is only available on Android. Products are not available on either platform at this time.

Re: Adding Products and Quotes to the Mobile App - changed to: Idea Submitted

Thank you for taking the time to post on this idea.

If you create quotes on the HubSpot web app, you can access these quotes from the deal record in the Android mobile app. Tap Deals in the bottom navigation menu, then tap a deal. Tap the Quotes tab, then view the quotes available for the deal. The quotes' status and expiration date will be listed below the name. Tap the quote to view more details, or tap the Menu to copy a shareable quote link, download the quote, recall the quote, or delete the quote. (Knowledge Base link)

Totally agree with this - sending quote from mobile app is key for salespeople in the field!

Hi @DBerger, I hope you are doing well!

As @karstenkoehler mentioned, at the moment it is not possible to create quotes through the HubSpot mobile app. If you would like this feature, I would recommend commenting & up-voting this idea on our Ideas Forum : Adding Products and Quotes to the Mobile App.

Our product team is always reviewing this space in order to receive feedback from our users

On the other hand, you can share a quote via a one-to-one email sent from the mobile app. This will require you to use the HubSpot keyboard on your mobile device.

Instructions for sharing a quote via the mobile app.

I hope this helps!

This is absolutely critical for salespeople who work in the field. They won't know in advance exactly what subscription the client will want. And you want them to be able to send it right then and there.

Being able to add Line items through deals on the phone app would be tremendously beneficial.

I'm not sure how many upvotes this needs for Hubspot to take notice, but this would open a whole new line of business for them.

Properly equiping reps with quoting functions so they can execute on the road is essential.

I assume many do not choose Hubspot because of this reason.

We are not able to use Hubspot simply because one rep does 10 quotes each day on the road.

+ 1 The ability to be able to add a line item to a quote from the mobile app is necessary!

Hi there, are there any timelines on these updates to the HubSpot app?

Relatedly, even being able to view current quotes on mobile is necessary. An idea for this seemingly simple first step is available here.

What's the status?

This is the only feature holding me back from using HubSpot for my business. We do door-to-door sales, and this is a dealbreaker. My sales guys need to be able to create quotes on the fly, pulling from the library of line items available on the web app.

I also used to work for a company that previously used HubSpot; they switched to a different CRM because of this missing feature alone, despite the jump in price. They were on one of HubSpot's top-tier plans, spending thousands of dollars each year. That one company would have single-handedly paid off all the dev hours going into this iOS feature.

Long story short, this feature is long overdue and has, at the very least, cost HubSpot thousands of dollars, if not tens of thousands. Ping me when it's available, and I'll sign up for HubSpot immediately.

Any update on this? We just moved over to HubSpot and my Sales team was really unhappy to find out that they could no longer quote from their phones on the road, at tradeshows, etc.

Line items can now be added via the iOS mobile app BUT the discount field is still not available.   This means the sales team can't even calculate the value of a potential deal via the app to discuss with customers.

Please add the discount field to Line Items ASAP.   This would at least give the sales team a tool to calculate the value of a deal.

Is this any further along? Any updates on when sending quotes through the APP will be possible?

We also need the ability to update the line item price on the mobile app. When will this be available?

Here's our situation:

- Outside sales rep identifies the opportunity and creates a deal in HubSpot

- Inside sales is alerted to the deal and prepares the quote in a separate system, then sends the quote to the outside sales rep

The outside sales rep sends the quote to the customer and is then responsible for moving the deal to the Quote Submitted stage and updating the line item price (which pushes to the deal amount).

Our outside sales rep can do everything from their phone except add the line item price. This means they have to boot up the laptop, find wifi to connect to, then update the deal. The mobile app is way faster for someone who spends all their time on the road.
