What do you think about adding the option to create "quote templates" that include line items.
Case study I have different brands, and different equipment quotes per brand (with more than 30 items inside with different quantities etc).
I would like to be able to clone quote templates (that have specific items inside) and assign them to other deals (which is not possible now since I can ONLY clone a quote that is already attached to a deal) ..
Having the ability to create templates with built in line items is our on list of hopeful developments as well. It would really save time and help minimize rep error.
Agreed! This would be so helpful for our team. We have a variety of quotes that are the same products each time and it's a pain manually adding them every time.
UPVOTE! Having quote templates we create that prefill line items for our products would be fantastic - we have new products that require ten+ line items per quote, and partner programs that offer discounted line items per quote, so having pre-made quote templates with line items would save SO much time and minimize the possibility of input errors along the way. Definintely following this thread and hopeful the product team creates this!

LinePilot doesn't create quote templates but it does use templates of line items to add to your deals. That way, when you create the quote, the line items are right there. You can have multiple templates of products for different types of deal AND you can customise the line items based on deal properties.
As the list of "products" grows, many of them can be very similar and having to choose individually each time opens the door for lots of quoting errors, i.e. quoting the wrong products. Multiply these errors by the number of users generating quotes.
I'd much rather have 50 different quote templates with products pre-selected than have 1,000 different products to search through multiple times on every single quote.
This is a very important idea and not a work around like "cloning". This allows a growing sales team to be consistent and have continuity. My sales organization would like 4 - templates (with line items). HubSpot, please invest in this idea, it's a real "satisfier"
This would be super helpful - especially since you can't even clone a Quote to a different company or clone a Deal to a different company. C'mon @hubspot devs.
Need this to optimize our workflow! We 9/10 times i have the same line items - depending on customer type (typically 5 different), but just need to differ amunts and pricing.
Also Bundle Line Items. So that if i ad a certain line item, those things that are always attached to that would automatically join in on the quote, instead of adding all SKU numbers manually each time.
