Quickly set/unset the Featured post from the list of posts (without opening the post)
Need a "quick edit" capability to easily set/unset Featured posts from the list of posts, rather than having to open and edit each post individually.
Other settings to consider changing from the list of posts include the title, publication date, author, etc. See WordPress collapsible "Quick Edit".
Side note: Ideally, Featured wouldn't be a tag:
If you have just one featured post set, then it serves a poor user experience when a reader clicks on the "Featured" tag, only to be taken to a page with just one post.
If you have multiple featured posts, there might be a better experience, but then why would there be more than one featured post given the current design setup for the grid?
Role: Blog managers/administrators
Goal: Set Featured posts easily and efficiently
Value: Reduces error, time-waste, improves staff morale, and overall joy using the product
Example: WordPress Collapsible Quick-Edit
Visual Graphic: A painfully long and boring video of someone going through the following steps:
Opening a blog post (wait for it to load)
Switching to the Settings window
Scroll to the Tags and add "Featured"
Publish
Repeat steps 1-4, but in Step 3 remove the "Featured" tag from the previously featured post.
