It would be great if there was an option to quickly and easily add contacts to static lists from the list screen. Possibly best as an option in the Actions menu.
@JBarratt I agree it would be nice to add contacts from the list creation page.
I started out creating workflows to add contacts to a static list and then discovered an easier way. Not sure if you already know that you can bulk add contacts to a static list by setting up a filtered view for Contacts and selecting everyone on the page (not sure why it doesn't work if you select all contacts meeting the criteria). This was much quicker for me than setting up a workflow (if it i was a one-time add and no need to add more contacts over time). You don't have access to all of the same filters you do for Lists or Workflows though.
@Jnix284 A problem occurs, when you use any common filters. Than you have search by name, select the person, click more, add to list, search for list, select list, add to list, search for new contact name. Image if you have to do this for several contacts. If you dont have filters, you cant really add filters either. At some point it becomes easier to add a new property, export all contacts fix the property in excel with the search function and upload the list again. This cant be the intended way.
So please add this function. It would also work for me personally, if i search for a name, select it and search for the next name that i does not deselect the contact. Than I can select all the people I need and only add to list once.
@CElis I don't work for HubSpot and I'm not on the product team, I was only offering an alternate method if that would help you achieve what you needed in the meantime. I'm sorry it wasn't helpful for your use case!
Very much needed feature @hubspot - simple way to increase efficiency for everone.
When you're in someone's contact record in HS, to add them to a list is very manual and laborious - you have to scroll down on the right, find 'List Memberships', 'manage' them and find the list.
Would be so easy and simple if one of the options under the 'Actions' was to 'add to static list' so we could quickly find and add the contact.
