Properties should have a hover functionality showing the Property Field Description.
Our teams has found that our employee onboarding process would be much quicker and more intuitive if team members were able to see the Contact and Company Property Field Descriptions from their usual interface. Specifically, while they are adding new contacts or working with contact or contact list.
We suggest a hover functionality allowing us to view the Property Descriptions when hovering over the Property Name.
Yes, can HubSpot please add a tool tip feature! It is frustrating to not beable to add instruction or helper notes. I don't know how many times my sales team has asked for this, and I have to sheepishly say it isn't possible. Please help!
Absolutely need this functionality! Our Sales and CSM teams are unable to maintain proper data hygiene because they simply can't see the tooltips or help texts. Explaining the team to look at Details of the property is an absolute useless task. Getting them to do admin. work is challenging enough and then to ask them to do it handicapped is bonkers. Please this idea needs more upvotes!!!!!
Why is this functionality available on Dashboards and Reports but not on Custom Properties? I can add descriptions to Reports on Dashboards and hover over the "i" icon to view the description without having to click into details. The current function on Custom Properties where you have to hover over a field, click 'Details', and then find the description in another panel is not intuitive. Requiring extra clicks almost guarantees that the description is not read or used. Please make the hover functionality available on custom properties!
Great idea... what would be even better is having a hover over for options in a drop down property, such as a radio button property or multiple checkboxes property, where when you hover over one of the available options you're shown a description such as when to select or not select the option.
