It would be great to create differents levels of priority for meeting links availability. For example : we have a team of 3 people to be booked for meeting, in round robin. In order to offer more availability we added a 3 people team as a backup. But round robin meeting link is so random that books the backup team sometimes before the primary one.
It would be great to have :
One team priority to meetings
One team or one person to backup if nobody can be booked with the first team
We have 2 team members. We want to prioritize meetings to one member, regardless of contact ownership. We want if person a is in a meeting for person b to be booked in their place. But person 1 get priority over person 2.
The name for the setting "prioritize contact owner" is a misnomer because it implies that other calendars are still an option when enabled. It should really be named "restricttocontact owner" because it completely nullifies the round robin functionality when a contact owner is assigned.
Ideally, if "prioritize contact owner" is checked on a round robin meeting, and the prospect selects a time where more than one user is available *and* the contact owner is available, the meeting should always be given to the contact owner first. This approach would deliver maximum flexibility for the attendee to schedule whenever they wish, including times when their contact owner is not available, but would still "prioritize" the contact owner should their availability align with the person booking. Right now it's an either-or, when it would be a win-win.
Right now, we choose to provide maximum flexibility for the attendee, but at the contact owner's expense because their prospects will often be booked with another team member. This is extremely frustrating!
From what I am seeing - SavvyCal doesn't have priority or weighted scheduling.
REALLY hoping to see this pop up in a beta soon. It's a LARGE issue in the scheduling tool that calendars like Calendly can handle especially for our growing team. @glencornell - Any. updates on this?
Any updates on this. Idea was originally submitted in November of 2020, and it's a relatively simple ask, being able to set priority of who gets the meeting booking. Right now we need to use Calendly for certain meetings to accomplish this.
