For sales and marketing teams that use non HubSpot forms on their website to capture data for sales, support, and general contacts. We need a way to permenetly disable a specific from. On the forms UI, there is an option to delete a specific instance of a form. As soon as a new submission occurs, a new instance of that same form shows. We can only turn on and off all forms at once. That's not logical or useful for teams using non HubSpot forms.
To be clear, the delete function only deletes that instance of the form. We need to disable specific forms entirely. The UI indicates each form is, "enabled". Can we have an option to disable?
It seems that Hubspot does not provide the capability of enabling or disabling the data collection from a specific non-Hubspot form in your website.
It's either enabling all or none.
It does not make any sense indeed but it's been this way for years and there is no solution implemented by Hubspot to tackle this problem so far.
Deleting the form from Hubspot does not solve your problem and the problem of many others.
There is a (very) dirty workaround to remove at the code level the tracking for some specific form: Adding sensitive form input (either name or label) such as "amex", "cc-num", etc.
