Parent-Child hierarchy feature for campaigns

Qt

We'd like to be able to track and report on a group of related campaigns in a parent-child hierarchial way. For example, this can be done in Salesforce. See here: https://campaigncal.com/blog-whats-new/2016/6/1/parent-child-hierarchies-in-salesforce-campaigns

Hi there, is there any update on when this feature might be released?

Hi all,

Considering the feedback received in this post, we are taking this feature request to the next step.

We are looking for professionals who use HubSpot’s Campaigns tool, have experience with Salesforce’s campaign hierarchy functionality and have feedback to share! If that applies to you, please fill in this quick survey before October 25, 2024.

If you are selected, you will be invited to a 60-minute Zoom session in exchange for a $100 gift card!

Thank you in advance for your interest.

With best regards,

Jenny Mueller

Finally.  That's good news.

But why are you using survey monkey and not Hubspot Surveys?

Hi @JennyMueller, are there any update relative to this release, please?

When are we going to be able to see a Beta?

Many thanks

I'd love to hear what the status of this is. We are moving some of our Salesforce campaigns into HubSpot, and this feature is definitely a must.

Any updates to this request? We desperately need this to improve our marketing reporting and campaign tracking.

@JennyMueller  Any update on this feature request?

I can tell that there has been some movement on this because I can now see there's the option to select a parent campaign for some of our campaigns, however I have no way to indicate which campaigns are "parent" campaigns. Thanks in advance for leveling up the product with this request.

@LShuman5
Hello, would you be able to let me know how you managed to select a parent campaign please? I had a look at campaigns, and I can't see any feature in this sense?

Hi @DAntonelli8

After I had posted my comment I discovered there was a workaround that was added into our environment that helps our reporting organize things for the time being. This solution is not a saleable solution, but it at least helps us break things down so that we can see what our evergreen campaigns are (campaigns that run longer than a year: ex - Website traffic) vs our time specific campaigns (campaigns that for a year or less: ex - pre & post tradeshow promotions). If you would like some additional information, please feel free to message me directly.

Thanks!

Being able to show campaign effectiveness is very near an dear to my heart and I would love to help if you are still looking for volunteers to help shape this product. I have an extensive background in working with Salesforce Campaigns if that is one of the prerequisites for your pool of volunteers. Looking forward to hearing more about how the product development process is going.

Thanks!

Any further updates on this feature?

Hi everyone!

I'm moving this idea to 'idea submitted' because we are in the process of removing 'In Planning' as a status as a part of the status updates in the Ideas Forum. The status changes aim to provide more transparency and clarity around where on the roadmap a feature is currently.

With that said, this feature is still on the roadmap, so we are changing the status to align with the updated statuses for now. Once this goes into development, we'll be sure to update you all here, so keep an eye out here for future updates!

In the meantime, you can request to join our latest Campaigns beta: a brand-new Analyze tab
Whether you're reviewing a single campaign, a selected group, or all campaigns at once, the new Analyze tab gives you a fast, unified way to compare results and spot trends - with select reports offering deeper AI-powered insights when you drill in.

With best regards,
Jenny Mueller
