I've contacted Hubspot Support regarding Server Side support and they told me there is no official support (there are some workarounds from 3rd party members). I said thank and if they could relay it to their engineers that Server Side tracking is essential for many companies as cookies are very blocked and many people use ad block. They told me to post my idea on this forum.
Any chance Hubspot is working on supporting Server Side tracking or would be willing to take it up on the roadmap?
Best,
Kai

Honestly, as much as I'm trying to understand this issue, I just don't see the necessity in this.
Did you know that when you install HubSpot's tag on the website, it runs a JavaScript that sets a cookie on your domain, making it a first-party cookie? And from then on, the script sends all analytical data to HubSpot servers. That's why we can still see web user data like traffic and session duration, despite the fear of third-party cookie blocking.
I can see how it can improve page loading by removing these tags, but other than that, I still can't understand the value of server-side tracking for regular business. I think it's more important for ad network business and for websites that host ad banners by these networks.
I just can't find any solution to put the tracking server side with Hubspot.
We really need to get it done in the futur.
