I really need the ability to create reports using OR filters instead of just AND filters. For example, we use fields like AC1 and AC2 when a contact has multiple accounts. When I create a report, I want to be able to see if there are customers with values in either of those fields, not just one or both.
Adding our voice to this thread. Important capability. Surprising the report filter editor isn't the same relatively advanced one as in views, where we do get access to "or".
How is it possible to have a reporting tool without basic AND / OR logic options? If this was a free tool, perhaps it would be understandable... but as a premium paid tool, this is kind of absurd.
Adding my vote for supporting "OR" logic in HS reports. In my case, I want to track the number of deals that enter any of 3 pipeline stages in a given time period. I have a few "AND" filters to choose the pipeline and the deal type and then I need a group of "OR" filters to collect deals from each of the pipeline stages, i.e.
Jumping in to add a +1 to this, but also add a workaround that I discovered that worked for my particular scenario.
I was able to achieve the "OR" functionality that I hoped for by creating a report using "Custom Report Builder" instead:
Once I chose that option, I just chose a single Primary Data Source (in my case, "Deals"). Then, under the Filters there, you can select the "ANY" option, and start making Filter Groups.
This ended up achieving exactly what I was hoping for and had way more flexibility on top of that too. Just wanted to share in case this helps anyone else who was stuck like me!
@hubspot - Please consider adding this filter functionality to the Single Object reports as well.
