Need to add more than 20 cells to a row for Google Sheet update/creates

We want to leverage the workflow feature that populates content (original and updates) in a Google Sheet based on an Object's activity. Currently, there's a limit of 20 columns to a row that can be updated, but the KB article states up to 100 columns can be supported (see screenshots).

Our implementations team documents configurations for clients within our custom object. The engineering team needs a place to reference this outside of HubSpot. To avoid duplicate entry, and since the Jira integration does not support custom objects, we were going to port the information to a Google Sheet using a workflow. More than 20 properties per object need to be populated, but 20 is the limit within HubSpot.

Hi @TCornRain,

Thank you for your feedback and for providing your use case!

For now, this is a current limitation per this section in the article.

Adding a second action with the next 20 properties will work as a workaround!

I would highly recommend you to please post this product suggestion in our ideas forum.

Our product team, who monitors the forum regularly, can read your specific use case and understand why this would be a useful functionality or change. It also helps other customers facing the same issue to advocate for its implementation on your behalf by upvoting on the thread as well.

Thank you,

@kvlschaefer I agree with @TCornRain that the number of columns being supported should be increased. With 20 columns you can't achieve much. Thank you.

Hi TCornRain:

Our team encounter a similar situation in which we need to export more than 20 properties from HubSpot deals to Google Sheets.

After searching all over the Internet, we recently found a new solution to export HubSpot data to Google Sheets.

To give credit where credit is due, we follow the instructions in the article below to export HubSpot data to Google Sheets.

Hope this may help some people like us searching for a solution.

Increase the limit, please! This workflow is very useful and it would be better if you could update more than 20 rows.
