Now in beta is the ability to mute email threads in the Activity Feed.
Sales reps leverage the email opens and clicks in the activity feed to monitor and strategically follow up on their prospect activity. However, when an email thread is no longer important or relevant to the sales rep, those email opens and clicks can create a lot of distraction. We're bringing muting to the activity feed to help reps gain finer control over what email threads they are notified on.
When hovering over an email activity card in the feed, users will be able to "turn off thread notifications," which will prevent new real-time notifications from being delivered via a user's browser to reps for a given email thread. When email opens or clicks occur for a muted email thread, the activity will still display in the feed but users will not be notified of that activity.
Muting is available for free and paid sales users. Muting will not impact-free user monthly notification limits.
