We are selling mensual abonnements. Client will have the same abonnement for one year at least. A client can subscribe for couple of year. Let's say that my customer subscribe for plan A during three year and I want to make different price reductions.

Today, it's written : Annual Total = 4 440
But I want my client to see :
Total year 1 = 960€
Total year 2 = 1 080€
Total year 3 = 1 200€
In my forcast category, I know that I will earn :
960€ in Year 1
1 080€ in year 2
1 200€ in year 3
Another idea would be to have different tables or a visual differenciator between year of subscription.
Upvoting this. Definitely something that needs to be addressed for contracts that have annual escalations/increases applicable to their products and services (i.e. CPI)
Hear, hear - threads are returning to 2020 asking about or showing this problem. Why is this still not available? We have the same problem with our monthly paid products. The quotes show a total of the 3 line items of a 3 year contract with changing discounts per year...
Chiming in here as another year is coming to a close and we are still having to go through a third party service for our Sales quoting. If HubSpot could get this together it would be a game changer for us. *cough* *cough*
This is an issue for our organization as well when working on a multiple year deal that includes both recurring and one-time billing frequencies. The system doesn't account for those one-time charges to ONLY be reflected in the deal ACV total for the first initial 12 month period and then should exclude it for the remaining years it will not be billed. Reducing the need for the end user to create multiple deal records to accommodate a single contract is not efficient. The workaround we have suggested to resolve for the time being is to mark those one-time product charges as Annually billed (meaning billed once per year). Term property should match the total amount of months of the contract and this has resolved our ACV total however it will reflect MRR when we are not receiving revenue monthly which is non-issue for us.
Hello everyone! What third-party tools do you use to create multi-year quotes with line items discounted differently for each year? I recently discovered that this is possible, and I'm feeling frustrated with the technical limitations of HubSpot on this issue. My use case:
@PollyPieCharts have you looked into their discount process for the system? We do not leverage that so I do not have a resolution for your use case. We also leverage custom date fields on our line items tied to products properties. While the system doesn't allow for you to create a custom calculation property on the product level, you could try to leverage a custom formula property on the reporting side. Or export the report and perform the calculations outside the system and see if it will allow you to provide the URL to the external content on a dashboard for oversight needs within the CRM vs sending a report separately outside the system. Let me know how you make out, good luck!
Hi @PollyPieCharts, we use Revops.io which has a native integration with Huspot. If you put the UI aside, the tool is very good and flexible, it can perfectly fit your needs! It's very easy for the customer to understand your quotes with this tool as it's made for multi-year quotes and pay-as-you-go pricing models.
When I was doing the benchmark, I was surprised that a large number of quoting tools did not handle multi-year contracts with different discounts.
