Multilingual Knowledge bases?

What is the timeline for multilingual knowledge bases?

We have a multilingual SaaS platform that can be quite complex that requires a robust multilingual knowledge base.

Been requesting this since first Knowledge Base came out!

 

Hope this is already in the development pipeline!

That is mandatory to implement this!

 

At least give us the ability to create more than one knowledge base and we would use this to create translations. This is what we do for blogs.

My 2 cents of specifications of this feature, very important to provide the best user experience to customers:

 

In the general settings of the knowlgede base, have the possibility to define one or more languages that will be available when writing and reading articles. Possibility to define a default language in the settings too.
When editing article, have a possibility to choose the language of the content you are editing.
When reading the article, display the content according to the browser language, and if it is not available, display the article in the default language, and also give the possibility to user to choose the language of the article.

Definitely up and high as possible.

 

I think that Hubspot´s European customers would benefit greatly from this. Hubspot has a lot to gain on the service part, so hopefully, more features and updates will come.

I also wanted to have the knowledge base multilingual, I really hope that this feature will be available soon.

I don't even mind creating a new knowledge base in the other language, however, have them both linked in a way if possible.

Seriously **bleep** that this is not yet an option... By the time this feature is upvoted and the first beta version made available, no timing visibility will be given to companies that need it QUICK. Such a disappointement.

we need it. it is not a nice to have it is a must. how should a company work internationally with only one supported language in the KB auf HS? Please put on Prio 1

We really need multilingual knowledge base. And for most global company, it should be a MUST function to do good customer marketing in flywheel model you advocate. Please take the first priorty!

@hubspot: do not forget that the content of the knowledge base must be exportable in order to be translated!

we have a cloudwords connector. please make sure thet CW can access the KB content!. THX

Up! It hangs for about 1.5 years. Maybe it is time to implement this feature?

Another upvote for this. We are looking into expanding and have already translated documents that we would like to offer in more than one language through the Knowledge base.

What’s Next For Knowledge Base

While the Knowledge Base has come a long way, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Over the next number of months, we plan on adding a bunch of new features, many of which are focused on solving for larger companies: Multiple Languages, Multiple Knowledge Bases, and Full Design Control. As well as adding new features, you can expect every aspect of Knowledge Base to continuously improve — no product is ever done.

@louischausse: Is this official Hubspot communication that it will be an option to use a multi language knowledgebase? 

We were researching the last few weeks for another tool for our knowledgebase, because our hubspot knowledgebase does not have the option of multiple languages and we really need this feature...

 

It's unbelievable that it's almost 2020 and multilanguage is not supported...
