Multi-step form: check mandatory fields before the next step, not in the last step

Mandatory fields in multi-step forms are only checked in the last step, even if they were not filled in during the first step.
This is confusing for users if they cannot see at first glance which fields have not been filled in.
Mandatory fields should be checked before moving on to the next step.

I agree, this seems to be a bug since required fields needs to be checked for each step otherwise it is not possible to use required fileds in multi-step forms.
