Multi-Select Drop Down Field for Forms

The idea is to have a Multiple Select Drop-down, which can enable a form visitor to select multiple options for a property by clicking on a dropdown and searching for an option. This would essentially be an altrenative for Multiple Checkbox Field Type, for when there's too many options in the property.

I've recently faced this issue, where I have a Contact Property field with about 250 different options, with the ability to have multiple options associated to the property. I need to insert this Property into one of my forms, and I find that having this property as a Multiple Checkbox means that the form becomes extraordinarily long, and I have to make the user scroll through each and every option to find the ones relevant to them, along with scrolling through all the 250 options to get to the next form field.  This makes for an incredibly bad user experience on the form, and I'm bound to have an insane bounce rate due to this. There seems to be no other usable alternative as of now. I'm using a multi-select dropdown in my Jotforms at the moment. As much as I'd love to move all my forms to Hubspot, the lack of this field type makes it quite difficult for me.

The form I'm using now looks like this:

please make this happen Hubspot! Multiselect properties in forms right now are only usable with a very reduced amount of options, otherwise the list gets tooooooooooo long

Yes! This is exactly what we need for our business. Our forms have tons of multiple select values and without this feature our forms look way to long and intimidating.

Very much hope, Hubspot will implement this soon. 🙏

For anyone still looking for an alternative here you can integrate Hubspot with Jotform which allows you to do this. The tool is super easy to use so definitely a great alternative. 😁

This concept is fundamental to data integrity for many of my clients. It is preventing us from being able to accurately associate contacts with accounts. Having a searchable drop-down would allow us to solve this major issue.

Yes please, this feature is critical for most of our forms.

Hubspot has this feature already in different setting fields (like "Additional teams")

This is essential!! It's a bit ridiculous that the only way to display 10+ property fields is to use checkboxes. For one, when you have a lot of property options, they need to collapse. Otherwise the form becomes a horribly long length. Second, why should checkboxes be the only thing you can select multiple of? Please also consider adding a search bar for drop-down menus. This has become standard across forms and HubSpot needs to jump on the wave ASAP.

Adding my support for this functionality. The inability to use a multi-select dropdown is causing our forms to look unprofessional. Users have to scroll through lines and lines of checkboxes in order to choose the repsonses that apply to them. Not a great first impression when a prospect enocunters one of these forms for the first time.

I have been following this thread since September hoping for a fix. Could we please get a reply from @hubspot support with a status update?

Funny thing is they basically have the functionality already built in hubdb (foreign key columns) that could be ported over as a form field type option
