Hi there, After recently setting up a new Business Unit we have found you cannot move emails between units once you have cloned them from another unit. It would be great if we could have the functionality to be able to move emails to the correct unit once these were created rather than having to create these from scratch.
I wanted to share a quick tip to help you save time when managing emails in HubSpot, especially if you’re working with multiple business units.
Here’s how you can use the Template Library to easily access email templates across different business units without having to recreate them:
Save the Email as a Template: Start by saving your email as a template in the Template Library. You can do this by selecting the email you want to reuse and choosing the option to save it as a template.
Switch to the Desired Business Unit: Once your template is saved, navigate to the specific business unit you’re working on.
Access the Template Library: Go to the Manage Template Library section. Here, you should be able to find and access the email templates you’ve already saved.
This approach eliminates the need to recreate emails from scratch, ensuring consistency and saving valuable time.
Managing assets with business units is a headache. Inadvertently being in the wrong business unit causes me daily friction.
This headache is compounded when an asset was accidentally created in the name of the wrong business unit.
Really hoping HubSpot dedicates the time to solving this - seems like such an easy update / quick win to reduce a major headaches for teams using business units.
