I am not sure why HS does not allow administors or manager to edit and move the lifecycle stage backwards. For example, we have contacts listed as customer, but they are not. Either by mistake or churn.
I review my automation errors weekly and this is consistenly one that requires manual updates. There are plenty of times where lifecycles are mistakenly moved forward - and workflows should be able to auto correct that. Additionally - the secondary goals for lost prospects and clients is to win them back. This should be a built in function.
Completely agree - sometimes you just need to clean up records and correct them. I need to rollback and correct some contacts and this is keeping me from doing so. The workaround would be a lot of time and work to implement.
