I know everyone resists change once they finally get used to something. I know sometimes it takes some getting used to. This menu move though (while visually nicer) is a huge pain in the rear end.

 

In my use of HubSpot, I am constantly updating information. This new sidebar gets in the way. I am continually opening the sidebar when I dont mean to, and unable to get to the menu items I want. It is a very frustrating change that in my opinion is a step backwards. I like the top menu bar because I have the vertical real estate to sacrifice a few pixels, but width wise I do not.

 

Solution? Give us the option to pick top bar or side bar.

I back this statement 100%. A sudden change, and without providing an option to revert to "classic" HS? Bananas.
