Currently, we get very low email open rates reported for certain emails that we have sponsored ads in. However, based on other reporting tools, traffic does not drop from these emails compared to regular emails.
This tells us that the invisible HubSpot tracking pixel at the bottom of the email is likely not firing for the longer emails. It would be great if Hubspot marketing users can move where the tracking pixel is placed so we can get accurate open rates for all our emails.
Alternatively, move the tracking pixel to the top of the email for everyone.
Please, HubSpot, make this update. I previously used Oracle Responsys, and for each email sent, we had the option to choose from a drop-down where we wanted the tracking pixel to be placed. Looking at the engagement of my organization's email, although they are good, I have seen that open tracking has not been picked up if someone does not scroll to the bottom of our email. I have tested this myself and have seen I have 5 clicks on an email but it states I have never opened the email. I also question if some recipients are actually engaged but are considered unengaged because they do not fully scroll down to the bottom of the email where the tracking pixel is located. I recommend that HubSpot either moves the tracking pixel to the top of the email or give each HubSpot user the option to select where they want to place the tracking pixel at.
