More View and Edit Permissions for Dashboards

On dashboards, you can only edit permission to give a group of users to edit and view them, but not just viewing for other different groups.

So if the creator of a dashboard wants to have edit + view access and wants the rest of the company to just view the reports, not allowing them to edit, it's not possible today.

A lot of dashboards products from the market have these options, so it will be a nice improvement to this HubSpot feature.

This would be incredibly helpful in how dashboards are set up and managed. I might be mistaken, but I remember a few years ago creating dashboards for sales reps that they could view but not edit, I'm not sure how or why the settings changed since then.

You can still allow reps to view and not edit. You can't, however, allow some of them to view and some to edit.

I recently ran into this problem as well and was surprised that Hubspot lacked this feature. I created a dashboard for a specific team and would like the manager of that team to have edit access while limiting the rest of the team to view only but it's not possible.

We are dealing with the same issue. In my case, I manage a Marketing Dashboard that multiple members of the Marketing team should be able to both View + Edit. Members of our Sales Team should be able to View Only. In HubSpot's current configuration, my only options are to give everyone View Only access, meaning I'm the only user who can edit the Dashboard (not ideal) or give everyone View + Edit access (also not ideal). More nuanced permission sets by user and team would be very helpful.

I'm getting increasingly frustrated with not being able to specifically and separately define view and edit permissions for dashboards per user. A dashboard that I spent the better part of a day working on was accidentally changed by someone else who should have had view-only access for this particular dashboard.

This user needs to be able to view the dashboard, but I can't prevent them from editing it unless I remove their permission to view.

Yes! My team needs this. The whole team shouldn't be able to edit our dashboards but they do all need to view it but the supervisors need to be able to edit AND view them, more than just the board owner.

Yep! I want my users to be able to create their own ad hoc reports, but I also need to be able to lock down certain Dashboards and Reports.

We really need this functionality. We need to allow certain users to View Only a dashboard, while others should be allowed to View and Edit the dashboard. This seems like standard functionality that should exist in order to protect our reporting efforts.

Essential feature as some users always manage to break dashboards for all.

The fact that this is not possible yet is astounding to me.

We have many external stakeholders that we do not want as Super Admins, but we want them to be able to edit a dashboard or two.

These dashboards include some that should be viewable for all, but we don't want anyone to be able to edit them.

Dashboard permissions should be split so we can let everyone view but only a few people edit.

We need this as well. It's essential for us.

Is this really still not a thing? HubSpot - it's almost 2025 at this point. We should be able to delegate a Manager to edit a specific dashboard without having to allow the entire team those same permissions.

Following because ^^ it IS 2025, why is this area so restricted? Open up this ability to customize similar to properties using Teams / Users and allowing them to view OR edit...

Still unable to conduct weekly huddles and meetings to go over the reports without the admin being in the meeting to sharescreen with the dashboard access...
