Ability to require minimum/maximum number of charcters in a form field. This would prevent users from entering a "space" to get through the required field. My application is for a zip code, where the user must enter 5 characters.
I know this feature is now live, I am just sad to realise it's not possible to use it on default properties. For me, this feature would be super beneficial for the phone numbers, but because the 'Phone number' property is a default property in HubSpot, I am unable to set these rules.
Hi team, any updates on this? The last update in 2023 said that "We are currently working to get this enforced on forms as well and should be deployed soon. We will keep you all posted." Huge issue for us as leads who submit specific fields on our intake form need to adhere to a 500 character limit or else our contact records won't sync to other platforms. This happens regularly.
I know forms has a new beta, have you been able to require property character limits in forms? This is really essential to our business process. Thanks for all your hard work!
I am writing to follow up on a development feature that was promised by Bryan on June 16, 2017, concerning the limitation of input text fields on our forms. As you may be aware, we currently have 76 active forms and a customer base of 10,000+. Our customers, who are not particularly technical, frequently attach numerous documents such as diplomas, courses, and certificates into the Input Text Fields. This practice is creating a significant processing challenge for our team.
Given the critical impact on our operations, we would greatly appreciate it if this development feature could be prioritized and addressed as soon as possible.
I’m Ian, the Product Manager for HubSpot’s Forms tool.
Thank you all for taking the time to submit, upvote, and comment on this Idea. I'm happy to report that this is now available in the new Forms Editor. You can opt-in to the public beta here,
