Merging in Salesforce = Merging in Hubspot

Hey

In our setup, when someone fills out a form (and other activities) and the system doesn't recognise the email it creates a Contact in Hubspot. That Contact is then synched with Salesforce and a Lead is created in Salesforce as a campaign member.

We then have a guy that validates the lead and if it is a duplicate he merges it in Salesforce.

Unfortunately the same thing doesn't happen in Hubspot, where the newly created contact just looses its synch and a synch error occurs.

Can't it be setup so a merge in Salesforce = a merge in Hubspot?
