Merge legacy behavioral events with new custom behavioral events

We have many behavioral events (legacy) that we have created over the years. Recently (in the past 4 months), we have added new events to the behavioral events (legacy). We have recently discovered that HubSpot added the custom behavioral events to the custom report builder, but you cannot use the custom report builder to report on the legacy behavioral events - you can only build reports out from the legacy behavioral events section.

It is also our understanding in talking with HubSpot support that the legacy events will not be moved/transitioned over to the new custom behavioral events. Thus, if we want to use the custom reports builder to report on our bahavioral events, we need to recreate ALL of our legacy bahavioral events and start over completely with the data we have.

HubSpot should be working to migrate the legacy behavioral events over to the new version. The concept of needing to recreate all of the events just to use them in the custom reports builder is a very poor solution for companies with a lot of data in the legacy behavioral events version, not to mention the existing workflows that trigger based off the legacy behavioral events.

Couldn't agree more. To demote recently created events as "legacy" and not include them in reports unless we manually re-create each one (and then re-do all of the workflows and other dependencies that use those events) is extremely frustrating. Hubspot typically transitions to updates or new features seamlessly and painlessly, but in this case I'm disappointed.

Couldn't agree more. Launching CBE without any links to real use cases is very poor. You're leaving your most prominent users in the dark, not knowing how to proceed with their integrations into apps, websites or platforms.

I can only see limitations to the current CBE's..
