Like Email Templates, and semi-related to Meeting links, it would be nice to have the ability to create meeting templates that you could select after you've either selected the Meeting icon ("Schedule a meeting") or the "Create Meeting" button within a contact record.
Example: We schedule follow up meetings at the end of our discovery calls to review our proposals while the contact/lead is on the phone. Therefore, sending out the meeting link to the contact for them to then pick a time is not relevant or a pleasant experience. Having the ability to automatically pull in an agenda, add video conferencing, selecting the meeting type and even having a standard meeting name that you can personalize would be a handy feature to have.
Any agency that uses HubSpot and has repetitive meetings could benefit and can save a lot of time and avoid human errors!
YES!!! Meeting Templates are only to Schedule a meeting, not for use on a meeting that has already been scheduled. You have to create the meeting from scratch in Google calendar essentially. And if this is what we have been doing (and not using the INCOMING scheduling link) then reminder email have to be manually sent (or set up on the event page in google calendar?) I think this risks no-shows on people who schedule this way.
This 100% needs to happen. Sometime its great for clients to schedule their own appoitnments but it's equally as effective for us to scheule our own. Meeting templates would be a great idea
This would make setting meetings of the same type so much easier to do across many clients. It would also be great if there was a 'schedule meeting' task type that could have a corresponding template and could be planned to schedule for a later date.
This is a major pain for anyone we try to set up a handoff process. People just opt to use the meeting link instead because it's at least consistent. The best solution I've come up with is a snippet you can put into the body of the meeting text while scheduling, then copy / paste info from the body into the other areas so at least everything is spelled consistently and in the same format. That doesn't set the meeting type or the location though which has to be done manually every time.
Since this request is 2.5 years old, is there a chance for a solution?
I totally support this idea since it will (i) support to schedule meetings in real time while the lead is on the phone and (ii) reduce the risk of missing to add important information.
Great will be if the tool can grab from a selection of templates: Title, Participants (add the contact automatically), Location (Microsoft Teams) and Descriptions.
We used to use appointment core with Keap. The meeting name, description, and reminders could be set by default. Unfortunately the integration with hubspot doesn't work the same way. I'm looking at possibly using it with appointment core, hubspot, and glance or zapier. But not sure if it will work. We were sold on hubspot as no longer needing to 'Frankenstein' all these different applications together. But there is no way to match the competitors. Either our salesperson has to re-enter the title, description, and reminders each time they schedule a meeting or they need to have two separate tabs open. One with the calendar link, which offers these templated options, and one with the contact record to copy paste the contact details prior to scheduling.
I am a new Hubspot user, and I was surprised that this capability was not already built in. I thought it a very natural activity to have meeting templates with default titles and descriptions set on selection.
