Match Ticket to Company Using Something Besides Email
I have setup a KB and ticket system gated by SSO so that only our clients can access it. We naturally want to link the tickets created to our existing companies, however the system only seems to match based on email address.
So that means despite us using SSO if the user decides they want the ticket replies to go to someplace else (like their gmail account) then they aren't linked to the proper company.
The only solution to this appears to be to make the email address a hidden field, which means the user has no clue what email address the replies will go to.
Please allow us to link using other fields. We have a custom property where we store our internal client ID of the user, but can't use that to link them.
Please, please, please fix this oversite as it makes the ticket system worthless to us.
