It seems that deal properties can be set to required upon deal creation only. There should be a way to make particular properites manadory when specific criteria is met, like Closed Lost Reason. If any deal is closed lost, I would like for "closed lost reason" to be a mandatory field the rep has to fill out. This information provides critical business insights and its being left unpopulated. I understand a workflow could be triggered, but it's not a complete fix, its a just a workaround to a problem being left unsolved.
I completely agree. Our previous CRM, Pipedrive, had this prompt automatically when a Deal was Closed Lost and it makes sense that our agents should be capturing this information automatically without having to build the workflow for it. Like having a task prompt, closed lost should be prompted.
