I know that we already have calculation properties but putting calculation columns/rows on reports can be a game changer for some. especially if you are comparing this to the sql and even excel.
This feature is available on the public beta page. I turned it on and now do see the option to add calculated fields to my reports. I do NOT have operations hub & do still have access to use this beta feature. Hope that helps! ^_^
Don't want to live in the stone age anymore! Having a function to create a formula in a dashboard and report would be fantastic! It solves a standard probelm in every department, especially when it comes to metrics and ratios. Not one dept can live without this function!
This is something that we would really like to be able to use as HubSpot Diamond Partners for our own services, and certianly it is something we have come accross with clients before. That said, seeing as though this issue is currently in planning, I would be happy to provide insights here from our own use case as well as any other feedback that may help in the development of this functionality!
Does anyone know the name of the Public beta mentioned in the comments? I'm searching through our Product Updates section and I don't see anything about having a Beta for Calculated Properties on Reports/Dashboards but it's something we really need.
I'm reaching out to discuss the need for more advanced custom calculation capabilities in HubSpot’s reporting tools. It would be incredibly useful to have more flexibility in creating custom calculations directly within HubSpot reports, like the ability to subtract dates or divide metrics (e.g., leads created this week divided by deals created this week).
Any update on this? I think HubSpot is still thinking that users would utilize campaigns for this info but in reality a dashboard makes more sense to summarize all the pertinent data for stakeholders and not being able to add a calculated output using object property records is a total bummer. Ie we have custom object records for events. We want to create a stakeholders dashboard that shows the overall ROI for these events. We created a calculated property for each event and so per event, we are able to showcase the ROI details using a Highlight Card on the actual object but when trying to create a dashboard summary of all events, we can only sum the Expenses and Attributed Deal revenue. Doing a Sum of Event Revenue and Event ROI event property is not accurate. We need to be able to do a calculated output of ((Sum of Total Revenue-Sum of Tota Expenses/Sum of Total Expenses)*100)
