Hi everyone! My name is Hallie, and I'm a Program Manager on the CXM Team. The product team confirmed that this is rolled out to a portion of accounts now, and will be rolled out to all Pro+ accounts by tomorrow. Enjoy! 😊

Hey all, working to improve this beta! Big change, the previous limits to this functionality have been sigificantly improved, now all Pro+ (so anyone with Custom Report Builder access) can create up to 5 Formula Fields per report, no more limit on the filtering and formulas in them. We are going to be making some more UI changes soon to make it easier to use, but I know this has been a big point of contention!

Please don't hesitate to message me if you'd like to provide more feedback. Thanks!

Hi @Patrick216! This should be available under "product updates" in your account here. It's specifically called "Formula Fields now in Custom Report Builder" 🙂

I'm happy to share that the ability to create formulas in the custom report builder in Beta, and available for Marketing, Sales, Service, Content, and Operations Hubs, Professional & Enterprise tiers! We have a Knowledge Base article with more info on how to use this feature, and how it works.

Please continue to share feedback as you use this feature, because this will help our teams continue to improve the functionality of the tool. Thanks everyone!

The ability to do calculations within reports rather than only within custom properties is very much needed.

My sales team is asking me to build very basic reports that can't be built in HubSpot because they require simple calculations that can't currently be done.

This would be a great addition for us, being able to calculate KPIs would make a huge difference to the reports we can offer

Huge feature. Here is a specific use case. We have a custom object with event registrations / attendences. Would be great to have a calculated row in a table report to see % of attendence.

Would be an excellent feature.  So many use cases that could add real value and keep HS users fully in the tool rather than export and manipulate data.

This would be great to see included in the report builder.

This is pretty critical! There are lots of use cases- conversion rates, churn % by reps, etc. Would love to be in a beta when this makes it our way.

Agreed.

We require a custom calculation in reporting that will show total deal close % by deal owner, ie. "Of those deals created by a Deal Owner, what % of them were won?"

I'm surprised this functionality doesn't exist already.

Critical feature to add. Reporting functionality is not in any way comparable to a true enterprise CRM without this functionality. Please add ASAP

I too would like to indicate how useful this would be. We want to show some basic calculations, but across two different objects. I have already set-up a dashboard with the numbers from the two objects and just wanted to do a calculation against the numbers, however this is not possible. We are weighing getting Operations Hub to access Datasets, but found out that we will not be able to do this with datasets either. Datasets only allows calculations on properties on the same object.

We are building our reports in Google Sheets and Data Studio by exporting data which is very clunky and would love this kind of reporting soon!
