I would use this on many reports to calculate averages, conversion rates and percentages in the custom report builder! Looking forward to seeing this.
Additionally, it would be helpful if there were a place to input specific numbers that you'd like to use in your calculations. In my use case, I'd like to add benchmarks calcuated from outside sources, such as last year's conversion rate, to use as a comparison to show progress so far this year.
In the absence of calculating properties in Line Items we can't show special prices given to clients (Unit Price - Discount) because the Net Price automatically includes the Quantity. This feature would enable us to circumvent this by dividing the total by the Quantity to give us the Special Price.
I mentioned it in another idea but seems relevant here. Funnel reports right now are really really poor.
In a single report I want to be able to see
# Leads from given source(s) created in a given timeframe # of those leads became MQL # of those leads became SQL # of those leads became Opportunity # of those leads became customer
and stepwise conversion rates.
I'd also like to be able to do this with Lead Status and not just Lifecycle stages. e.g # Leads that ever had Lead Status A who ever reached Lead Status B. Obviously being able to slice and dice by source, create dates, owners, form submissions etc.
Then in relation to tables being able to display as a % instead of a value.
Yes, I def agree. We want to, for example, calculate retention rates based on lost deals and closed deals and there is not a way to get this calculation to show in one graph (I had to make two and have to export/manually calculate the difference).
The article says it's available on all Professional and Enterprise Hubs but checking in a client account it's saying it's unlocked through Operations Hub Enterprise.
I think it's a bit rough that basic calculations aren't available in Professional and Enterprise across all Hubs.
Had it confirmed by CSM that Datasets are only part of Operations Hub Enterprise for the time being. The reference to Professional and Enterprise tier across hubs is in relation to Custom Report Builder access.
So we will be waiting a while longer...which **bleep**. I agree that it should be available across professional tiers, could maybe stomach having to pay for the reporting add-on but not operations hub. Solely on this decision it would seem they are putting more emphasis on being able to define the datasets across teams etc, which I can see the rationale for, as opposed to on the basic functionality of calculated fields which should really be table stakes.
This is incredibly frustrating to not be able to do some simple date comparisons to filter or isolate data. Would love to see this get properly built out.
