Make PandaDoc integration work on deal workflows as well

Hi,

We're using the integration with PandaDoc and are quite happy with it. Now we wanted to add a workflow that changes a deal status whenever the status of a PandaDoc document is changed.

For example, when the PandaDoc has status 'Sent' we want to automatically change the deal stage to 'Quote Sent" and when the PandaDoc status is changed to 'Completed', we want to change the deal stage in Hubspot to 'Deal Won'.

Currently, you can only use the PandaDoc statuses in Contact-related workflows, but as I said, we want to use the PandaDoc statuses as triggers to enroll deals in deal-related worfklows.

Please add this to the integration if possible 🙂

This would be extremely useful having the ability to update custom properties based on PandaDoc triggers on a deal (such as date sent etc)

Hi Stanz

This is easily done using Zapier. It only requires a single trigger and task, so free Zapier would suffice.

The trigger is document status, then within the doc meta you can get the HubSpot deal ID, then use a single task to update that deal.

(You can update a lot more in the deal at that time to, if you want to set any deal properties based on choices the customer made in the PandaDoc)

Once the deal status is changed, or other elements of the deal updated too, you can trigger any HubSpot Workflow you need.

shout if you want any help with that.

cheers

This would help us a lot as well. I'd also love to see available Qwilr workflows for deals and not just contacts. For instance, if a Qwilr is associated with a deal, that deal moves to Proposal and when a PandaDoc is associated with a deal it moves to SOW.

We're using PandaDoc for signatures of renewals (among other things) and would love to be able to write a workflow that would update the expiration date of the agreement after the agreement has been fully signed. I think I can accomplish this now but it would require using Deals (which we don't necessarily need to do in our use case) and at least 2 workflows and copying of property data from one object to another for something that should be fairly simple.

Something like:
If a PandaDoc document is "fully signed" or "complete" or whatever term would be used, then update this COMPANY property or this CONTACT property or whatever.
