HubSpot is vulnerable to missing out on vast amounts of the healthcare space if they don't build out their HIPAA compliance capabilities. This is a very important need!
Upvoted! Have you found another integration to engage with Customers on the service side? We're looking to use HubSpot Service Hub for ticketing, but if that involved sensitive data, it may not work out.
Thank you! On the service side, we just advise our medical clients to use their EMR systems for tracking all service requests. I don't think we could recommend Service Hub to them because the likelihood of sensitive data within the service requests would be too high.
Huble Digitalhas built HIPAA compliant CRM extensions in HubSpot for several clients.
A CRM Extension is shown in the right hand side margin of a Contact/Company/Deal record and looks like it is part of HubSpot, but it is actually an external system.
We build these on a single tenancy HIPAA compliant hosting environment, and lock them down to a IP range.
Most of the information cannot be used in lists as it then can be identifiable - but we work with customers to identity what can be put into lists without breaking PII rules.
Would love to see this on the platform. HIPAA and Financial Data are key to many businesses. Otherwise, it makes me want to look at SalesForce. Would prefer to stay with Hubspot.
We live in a virtual world where we are interacting with patients all day long and being HIPAA compliant would be a huge benefit for us. PLEASE bump this up or at least give everyone an ETA as this has been an ongoing request for YEARS.
We could use this as well. Our entire reason for adding HubSpt Service was to bring all teams into one system and now we have teams we cannot bring in because HubSpot is missing this critical piece. Now we have to decide what makes more sense - finding a new system our entire company can use and getting rid of Hubspot or getting seperate systems just for those teams, which defeats our intended purpose. How long before this is a reality in HS? Any ideas of where this sits on your roadmap?
