Make 'From Sender' field 'Smart' for automated emails

To make our email nurtures more personalised, we'd like to have them 'sent' from their assigned SDR (lead owner).
 
I know we can achieve this in the email copy using smart content so the email footer switches based on lead owner, but we'd like to have a way to achieve this for the sending name and email address also (using a 'smart' solution as opposed to having to build out seperate emails and multiple work flows).
