Make Custom Objects Accessible in Zapier Integration
Currently in the Hubspot's Zapier Integration, custom objects are not accessible as triggers or actions. We would like to be able to run formulas for dates and all sorts of other actions that are beyond the capabilities of Hubspot's workflow automation tools. All of hubspot's standard objects are available in Zapier, we would like to be able to have the same access for custom objects we've created.
We use custom objects to handle projects in our organization. The project/custom object has some dates and resources it needs to handle and allocate, and to control that we want to trigger on creation of custom object so we receive an object in our resource planning tool Float.
This is a serious gap in hubspot's experience. Custom Objects are as important for clients which requires them to make use of functionalities available to them. In this case, neither Ops hub, nor a third party middleware is able to sync the data in custom objects.
This is now NUMBER 81 on my list of obvious features that HubSpot should have but doesn't.
HubSpot as a company is a dumpster fire. They do the bare minimum work when introducing a feature, they don't connect it to all the other parts of HubSpot and don't develop basic functions that every user would expect to have. Can't add one property to another in a workflow. Can't compare one property to another in a workflow. Can't do basic math operations in a report or in a workflow. No personalization tokens in templates. Can't prevent automated emails from going out on holidays. Can't filter on associated objects in views. Can't count unique values in a property for a report. The list goes on and on.
For what they charge, it's really bordering on fraud at this point.
