I do not understand why you can only look for an email :
- in the inbox you are into
- by choosing the filtrer "opened" or "closed"
It would be much more efficient to look for an email (or a specific word) and to see visible :
- all conversations from this email appearing, whether they are opened, closed or in another inbox
- all conversation with this email mentioned in the email body
