Logging attachments on incoming e-mails

"first-in-thread" incoming e-mails are not logged automatically in Hubspot. When this e-mail contains an attachment, the only way to get this attachment into HS is to forward it to  YOURHUBID@forward.hubspot.com or to actively upload the file to HS.

There have already been a few ideas dropped in the community, e.g.:

I really do not understand, why attachments are not being automatically logged together with the e-mail. I have been trying to get a decent solution for the issue, but for some reason the conclusion is always that we should use the forwarding e-mail address.

I'm having this same issue. I've tried Outlook Desktop (old) and Outlook in my browser.

Using the bcc or forwarding address doesn't work for us because it isn't record specific. For example, when logging an email, if it's going to auto-associate to a deal, I need to make sure it lands in a specific deal, not the 1 most recent, not the 5 most recent.

Our old CRM gave us a forwarding or bcc email address specific to the record, not just a general email.

If this was available on HubSpot, it would at least help.

As of now my team has to manually save email attachments in the deal and most of the time, do this on a note to provide further context, as to what the attachment is.
