Logging Inbound Email

Hubspot, please add a checkbox 'Inbound email' to the view 'Log an Email'.

This is to capture correspondence received outside of email, such as LinkedIn, which will influence reporting against the property 'Recent sales email replied date'.

Just seen this was added: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/contacts/manually-log-a-call-email-or-meeting-on-a-record

1) Would prefer to have SMS and WhatsApp grouped under "Log a Text Message", and then add in it's place "Log an Instant Message" (e.g. Skype)

 

2) Please can the options of 'Inbound' and 'Outbound' be added to these new activity types so we can report based on inbound interaction

Completely agree, and can't believe it's been over 3 years since this was suggested and still not implemented.  HubSpot has the ability to log inbound and outbound calls, how could that same functionality not exist for e-mails?!
