Live chat ask for email address (or any field we set) before the chat starts
We use live chat for lead capture. Every live chat solution we've ever used allows us to ask for the customer's email address (or any other custom field we want) prior to them being allowed to start a chat.
i.e. the visitor fills in the details then presses start chat
HubSpot has no such option. We have "Ask visitors for their email address" set to "Immediately after first message is sent", however, it doesn't help.
Visitors don't care about entering their email if they've already started chatting with an agent and we find they don't bother filling in the prompt for their email address.
This loses us many precious leads. Please implement this change.
