List of contacts from list of companies

I would have thought this was basic functionality within HubSpot; however, this doesn't seem to be the case according to support. All I want to do is create an active list of contacts assocaited with an active list of companies. 

E.g. I have a list of companies based on their inclusion in a particular pipeline. I would like to email every contact associated with each company (not just the deal in the pipeline), and so I would like a list of those contacts to utilize in support of that undertaking. This seems like it should be a no-brainer to do, but is apparently impossible just using lists right now and apparently I have to try to create a workflow as a workaround.

Yes! We need this. We don't use Hubspot for our pipeline, just marketing. I want to export a list of client companies from out other CRM, upload it to hubspot, then change the lead status/lifecycle for all of the contacts associated with the company client list. Can't believe this functionality isn't possible yet.

Commenting to upvote this as well. We have some organization-based subscriptions that are tracked via a custom object associated to the company. But it's the individual contacts associated with those companies that we need to send the emails to when there is new content in these subscriptions. Can't figure out a way to pull a list of those contacts. Workflows don't even work (at least what we've tried so far) because a workflow has to be contact-based OR company-based.

Would love to see this idea implemented ASAP! For prospecting, I'd love for my team to be able to create a list of companies we're targeting with a specific outbound sequence, then filter a list of contacts based on their company's presence in said list to be enrolled in that sequence. This ability would make my life a lot easier and more efficient.

Same for my company. We do marketing campaigns based on companies profile's and I can't measure easily its results

Agreed with everyone above! As a work around for now I created a property under companies that indicates i just added them to a list and then I use that property to create a list of contacts. It's extra work though and I have to remember to then clear that property when I'm done.

You can bulk fill the property filter when creating a contact list.

- Create a contact list

- Select company name as property and filter "company name is equal to any of:"

- Copy paste your company list in the following format: "companynameA;companynameB;companynameC;companynameD;..." etc.

Then you should have all contacts from these companies in your list.

This is also valuable for us.  Our contacts are only associated with companies, companies with deals, and we want to get a list of contacts whose companies have purchased particular products (line_items on deals).  It's one more level of indirection than HubSpot currently supports, and it's critical for what we want to do.

Our onboarding specialist wants us to associate contacts with deals, and that's a lot of work to maintain, since companies add and change contacts all the time.  It would be ideal if we didn't have to short-circuit our chain of associations to get the functionality we need.

This is now possible. Create a contact list -> filter on Company -> click List Membership - Select your list.

I'd love to have an active list of contacts from my Target Accounts. I'd use that list for other communication and follow up. This seems like a common enough task that there should be a one-click option for it for anyone using Target Accounts. (I'd also like to do this more generally, but the Target Accounts seems like a known, bounded place for developers to start.)

My sales manager sent me a list of companies from NetSuite that we want to target for a campaign in HubSpot. I got tied up in knots trying to explain that HubSpot doesn't have an easy way to pull a list of associated contacts from that list. Then she asked, "So do I need to use NetSuite to pull a list of contacts associated with these companies and send you that list? Why do we even have HubSpot?" Ouch. Has any progress been made on this?

I think this is related... I would like to create a view (list or board not a report) that displays properties across multiple associated objects?? Is this possible?
